Pride and Humility

Instead of “swallowing our pride”, we need to desire to rid ourselves of it the second our soul begins to taste it—Spitting it out like one of the most bitter, toxic pills that could ever touch our tongues.

In contrast, circumstances that allow us to experience a dose of humility should be welcomed and savored into our beings like the sweet, succulent flavor of a fruit that has been ripened to perfection.
