“Christians”, It’s time to make a choice

Believing in the God of Jesus Christ is easy.; knowing Him and following Him is another story. Far too many Christians these days are believers only. They spend their days seeking justice and peace for our world as if it’s the fault of others that we are where we are; yet fail to look inward and ask God to change them wherever He sees fit in order to serve the same purpose. They tread in shallow Christian waters; not deep intimate ones. They speak and behave more like the secular world. They even refer to “the universe” as if “ the universe” is a Holy deity. Let’s be clear: God speaks through the events of the Universe; but the Universe itself does not speak. All this to say, it’s time for Christians to make a choice. Either you’re in or you’re out. You’re either going to get real and let God hold up the mirror or you’re going to keep that tongue of yours long as it speaks of others; while you keep short memories of your own daily failings. And remember your decision has nothing to do with what others in the Christian body have or haven’t done. This is about YOU; you and God. Truly said in love. I’m just tired….really tired of “it”.
