These past few days God has been impressing on my heart the fact that He created each person as He saw fit. Yet we, often innocently and unknowingly, try to make others be the way we believe is best; placing expectations that are of this world that have nothing to do with glorifying Him. He has reminded me of Joseph and David, both of whom were “different” and as youngsters treated poorly because of it. Yet, both were chosen by God to hold high positions of power.
With that He has also reminded me to Trust in Him and to not be conformed to the ways of this world; though the worldly pressures are greater than ever.
I am thankful for His words that are just as alive today as they were from the beginning. I’m listening again and it feels good.
